Summer Photography Camps for Kids
Where Learning Photography is Fun!

Photography is more than just pointing and shooting, it's a decision making process.  In addition to being a fun way to express yourself, photography is a great way for you to look carefully at the world around you. We will be taking field trips and actually out and about shooting beautiful images! This is a very hands on camp and takes the camper from the actually taking of the image to cropping and correcting it on the computer to actually uploading it to the internet or printing it to paper!  All information will be presented in an age appropriate and FUN environment using games and activities that will teach the basic concepts of digital photography.  We Have some field trips as well as studio and computer worked planned. The day will also include free time, where campers will create a portfolio of their work including thoughts on their images. Cost includes all supplies and printing fees.

Advanced Camp July 8th - July 12 2013

Camp Costs: $199.00 which includes:
10 8x10 prints from the week
Photoshop 7.0
Your own Digital online Portfolio

Camp Schedule: Basic
Monday:
9-12 welcome and getting to know your camera and lighting. Studio tour and work outside studio
12-1:30pm Lunch and working on setting up online Portfolios
1:30- 3 Introduction of tomorrow's topic, Q & A and Homework assignment, and Games
 
Tuesday:
9-12 Neva's (my moms) beautiful flower gardens right next door
12-1:30pm Lunch and working on Portfolios
1:30- 3 Introduction of tomorrow's topic, Q & A and Homework assignment, and Games
Wednesday:
9-12 Down on the farm, we will be shooting at an actual farm!

Thursday :
9-12 Town of Bridgeville parks and town areas
12-1:30pm Lunch and working on Portfolios

9-11 Photos of you and your classmates
11-12 Photo Selections for Portfolios
12-1:30pm Lunch and working on digital Portfolios

9-12 Flower power.... macro photography, water and backgrounds for amazing macro photography

Wednesday:
9-12 Down on the farm, we will be shooting at an actual farm Bridgeville

Thursday :
9-12 Lewes Street Photography
12-1:00 pm Lunch
1:00- 3 Fashion and people shoot in Lewes
Class mates will meet in Lewes Delaware and be picked up there!
Friday:
9-11 Photo shoot out!!!! who can do the most with the same subject, space and controls! we are recording this one!
11-12 Photo Selections for Portfolios
12-1:30pm Lunch and working on digital Portfolios
1:30- 3  Printing your best 8x10's for your Portfolio and Games

Camp overview:
Campers must provide the following prior to coming to camp
- registration form
- waver form
- payment in full

Campers will need to bring the following every day:
- A digital camera, batteries and charger, and Instruction manual if unfamiliar with camera
- A memory card for the camera that is at least 4 GB ( or several memory cards)
– please write your campers name on it.
- A backpack
- Water
- Snack
- Lunch (that they can take with them on field trips)
- small umbrella
- sunblock
- bug spray
- comfortable shoes for walking
- while not necessary if you want to bring your own laptop that would be helpful
Campers should be dropped off between 8:45 and 9 am and picked up no later than 3:00
pm.

Where is the Camp/Workshop?
Photography by Lloydlee Heite's studio located at 10277 Sunnyside Road, Bridgeville, Delaware 19933.  Field trips in the local area!
What kind of camera does my child need?
Any digital camera will do. Camera manual and instructions will be helpful! Card or Cards for your camera as well as batteries and charger if needed
How many teachers will there be?
2 to 3 depending on class turnout!
What if it rains?
Classes will be held in our Studio on rainy days.  
Are there any additional costs?
There are no additional fees.

When do I need to pay?
Space is very limited and this is first pay first enrolled.
What if I have to cancel?
Money will be applied to a future Camp or a gift certificate at Photography by Lloydlee Heite
